ZooM!Malaysia with RidersKUANTAN: The Tourism Ministry is planning to introduce the Zoom! Malaysia With Riders programme where tourists will be taken to destinations on motorcycles.
Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said the ministry hoped that motorcycle associations would make proposals on how the programme could be implemented, and the activities and fees involved.

She was confident the programme would prove attractive for tourists and the younger generation.
“Safety and profit are factors that must be given priority. We want Malaysians to implement the programme,” she said after launching Kuantan Mountain Bike Enduro Downhill 2009 at Teluk Chempedak near here recently.
Some 100 cyclists from Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and Singapore were taking part in the competition.
Ng also said the ministry had allocated RM150,000 to upgrade the cycling track in Teluk Chempedak. — Bernama
